Alpheus UHT

This sensor is designed for use in harsh environments, with high sensitivity and frequency. It is fully calibrated for its sensitivity and bandwidth. Thanks to its small size, it allows the study of high-frequency acoustic waves in pipelines. Typical applications:
- Turbine analysis (compressor stall analysis)
- Non-destructive testing
- High-voltage measurements (overhead lines, electrical transformers)
- Arc or HF welding processes
- Measurements in ATEX environments

  • Resonant frequency: 30kHz to 1MHz. Typical values: 70kHz, 100kHz, 150kHz, 200kHz, 400kHz.

    High-pass frequency: 100Hz typ.

Bandwidth at +-3dB: 1/3 of the resonant frequency

Sensor sensitivity: depends on the resonance frequency. From 1 microV/Pa to 5 mV/Pa.

Maximum permissible pressure: 130dB to 220dB SPL.

Dynamics: 60dB typical with microMyotis, 80dB typical with Myotis Standard, 100dB typical with miniMyotis
